of the 3rd of February, on the subject of the proposed

Hong Kong-China Customs Agreement, I am directed by

Lord Passfield to request you to inform Mr. Secretary

Henderson that he now proposes to communicate to the

Governor of Hong Kong the amendments in the draft which

have been agreed after interdepartmental discussion

and he will be glad to learn that ir. Henderson concurs

in the terms of the enclosed draft despatch.
